How much does a concrete floor cost UK?

The cost varies on the type of project, residential or commercial, types of material required.

Are polished concrete floors expensive UK?

The cost can vary depending on the type of finish that is required, preparation time needed before the concrete can be laid. As a guide, a new polished concrete floor, poured, finished and sealed, will cost in the region of £120-150 per m² – but inspection will be required before an accurate quote can be generated.

How is a polished concrete floor installed?

Most polished concrete floors are poured in a single layer, 10cm-thick. The following day, expansion cuts are sawn into the floor, encouraging inevitable shrinkage cracks to form in a neat line. These are then filled with an expandable, colour-matched sealant. Once this has been completed, the final stage is the floor is cleaned, polished and sealed.

Why choose a concrete floor?

If you are after a flooring solution that is durable, strong, and cost effective, and if installed correctly, require very little maintenance.
